4th of July Parade Judges Announced

**The Barrington 4th of July Parade committee announces

this year’s Parade Judges:**

  • Patty Jacobson Barrington Chamber of Commerce Chair

  • Jack Schaeffer BADC (Barrington Area Development Council) President

  • Chris Griffin Volunteer Extraordinaire (Co-Chair of Sesquicentennial Street Fest)

  • Gene Dawson Recently Retired Barrington Township Supervisor

  • Andrew Carter Roslyn Road School 5th grade teacher.

The judges will watch the parade from a special viewing area set up in front of the White House on Main Street.

They will be evaluating each float and awarding the following three prizes:

  • Grand Prize For the best overall parade entry

  • Village President’s Award For the best depiction of the parade theme: “The Best of Barrington - A Community Celebration”

  • Spirit of Barrington Award For the entry which best shows dedication, originality, and community pride

Winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the parade at the Brat Tent in downtown Barrington.
