School Director Susan Brown greeted families as they entered and directed them down the hall to where a giant bear welcomed them to the Teddy Bear Picnic. Upon check-in families could pose for a portrait or create their own set of binoculars to go on a 'Bear Hunt'.
Many tables help a variety of treasure to bid on in the silent auction, including a South African Photo Safari!
The auction items for 'Teacher's Treasures' are always the most popular at school events. Families bid on their teacher for babysitting, breakfast, an ice cream outing, karaoke, a picnic or movie night.
After enjoying a child-friendly meal and treats from the expansive Sweet Table, the smallest members of the family were ready to jump and jiggle with their friend and siblings. An Enchanted Evening DJ & Entertainment company played favorite hits for the pre-school set. Some of the littlest must have experience at other group dances, as they knew all the moves once the 'Chicken Dance' was played.
Parent volunteers created an incredible experience that could be enjoyed by all ages. There were probably many small attendees who didn't fight bedtime, or most likely feel asleep on the car ride home.
All proceeds from the Noah's Ark Preschool Teddy Bear Picnic will go towards purchasing a variety of musical instruments for the school.
