Village of Lake Barrington Farmers’ Market Set to Reopen

Village officials have announced that Lake Barrington’s Market Place Shopping Center, located at the corner of Illinois Route 59 and Kelsey Road, will be the site of a Farmers’ Market this summer.






The market will begin operation on Tuesday, June 6, and will feature an array of produce, locally sourced meat and poultry, and a variety of fresh dairy products. The Farmers’ Market will be open weekly every Tuesday through the fall, and families are encouraged to attend.

enjoy a local Farmers’ Market,” said Village President Kevin
Richardson
. “This is a great opportunity for foodies, residents and
families alike to support local businesses, and promote healthy,
source-conscious eating. I also want to thank the owners of the
Market Place Shopping Center for their leadership in making this event
possible.”
