From fun hands-on art activities to free giveaways and local youth entertainment, the Barrington Family Expo on April 8 at Barrington High School offers something for everyone.
The event, co-hosted by the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce and the Barrington High School Fine Arts Department, will be held at the school from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and features performances by Bataille Academie of the Danse and the Barrington Children’s Choirs, miniature therapy horses from Mane in Heaven and Soul Harbor Ranch, a Super Hero Photo Booth, food and refreshments, and nearly 90 booths showcasing business and community resources.
“This is a community event dedicated to connecting local families with the first-rate programs and resources available in the Barrington region,” said BACC President/CEO Suzanne Corr. “The Expo is a family affair – with hands-on activities for all ages, business and community booths, local entertainment, and more. It’s a great afternoon outing for the entire family.”
Admission and parking to the Family Expo is free. Attendees can also enter to win a Barrington Area Shopping Spree. The entrance to the Expo is off of Hart Rd. at Entrance # 34, the Main Gym/Natatorium entrance at Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St., Barrington. Hundreds of local residents are expected to attend.
