Willow Creek Goes for World Record This Sunday

Willow Creek Community Church aims to clinch a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records with hosting the world’s largest game of catch this Father’s Day.

The record is currently held by the Cincinnati Reds when 1,058 people played catch on July 9, 2015, at P&G Cincinnati MLB Urban Youth Academy.

In addition to DadFest, an annual Father’s Day celebration, all are invited to participate in the world’s largest game of catch after the 11:30 service. Participants must bring a regulation baseball or softball glove, customized DadFest 2017 balls are provided.

The chairman and owner of the Chicago Cubs, Tom Ricketts, will be joining the Willow Creek community at their Father’s Day service on Sunday prior to the celebration of DadFest. Willow Creek Community Church will also be celebrating dads with activities, live music, food, and fireworks on Saturday and Sunday.
