ESO Brings Music into Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital with Help from the BACF

On August 24th, 2017 the Elgin Symphony Orchestra(ESO) and Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital held a reception to kick off the Musicians Care Program.

The Elgin Symphony Orchestra (ESO) first partnered with Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin to bring the healing powers of music to the hospital. Playing for two hours, the musicians start in the lobby then travel throughout the hospital to support patients, families and the medical staff.

The program coming to Barrington was made possible by a $5,000. grant from the Barrington Area Community Foundation.
