Barrington Junior Women’s Club is seeking three directors for its annual summer camp, Safety Town.

Safety Town is a two-week educational summer program, for children entering Kindergarten and first grade,  sponsored by the Barrington Junior Women's Club.  Safety Town participants learn vital safety lessons through activities and demonstrations.  A miniature town gives children hands-on experience using safety skills while riding trikes and acting as pedestrians.  The Safety Town permanent site is located at The Orchard Evangelical Free Church of Barrington, 1301 S. Grove Ave.

Four sessions of Safety Town will take place in 2018:

  • Session 1:  June 11 – 22  9:00am – 11:30am (M-F)
  • Session 2:  June 11 – 22  12:30pm – 3:00pm (M-F)

  • Session 4:  July 9 – 20  12:30pm – 3:00pm (M-F)

We are seeking a Lead Site Director, Site Director and Assistant Site Director.  Specifics of the various positions can be found below.  All Directors must be certified teachers, or in the process of certification.  Directors are required to commit to all four sessions.
