The Barrington Junior Women’s Club is excited to provide an entertaining and exciting night of casino games and cocktails at their spring event, Luck Be A Lady.

The Mad Men inspired evening will feature gaming, entertainment Greenlight, delicious food, and cocktails.  Co-Chairs Stephanie Jameson and Alli Swingruber have been working on this evening of fun for the past few months and it will take place on Saturday, March 3 at Biltmore Country Club.

“We knew early on we wanted to set a theme in the 1960's to incorporate the glamour and sophistication of the era.  We started off with "Luck Be A Lady," and the Mad Men show was such an authentic depiction of the 1960's that it seemed to fit perfectly!” Stephanie explained.

Early bird tickets are available January 1-15 for $275 per couple.  As of January 16, tickets will be $300 per couple and $150 per person. Doorway raffle, impact raffle, and silent auction will be available for all of the guests including a fully stocked bar cart to make you really feel like Don Draper.

There will be craps, roulette, and blackjack tables with uninterrupted play the whole evening.  But you’ll definitely want to take a break to hit the dance floor with a live band and one of Chicago’s favorites, Greenlight.  Their energetic and funky sound coupled with all the big hits will keep everyone moving and grooving all night.

All proceeds from this event help BJWC support over a dozen local philanthropic and community organizations including Barrington Youth & Family Services, high school merit scholarships, BJWC Safety Town, Smart Farm, JourneyCare, BACOA, Barrington Community Meal and more.

Co-Chair Alli Swingruber loves seeing the impact these events have within the community saying “The money given to the selected departing high school seniors were astounding and it was exciting to hear how they planned to use it. The Safety Town birthday party made it clear to me just how many families reap the benefits of that program. And many of the scholarship recipients mentioned that they had attended Safety Town so it was really special to see BJWC’s reach come full circle.”
