Annual Citrus, Pizza, Coffee & Toffee Sale Supports BHS Fine Arts Programs

Barrington 220 News
September 17, 2018

It’s time again for the Barrington High School Fine Arts Boosters Annual Fall Fundraiser.

The Citrus, Pizza, Coffee and Toffee Sale 2018 is a delicious way to support fine arts education. All proceeds allow the Boosters to fund special programming and equipment purchases for all our Performing and Visual Arts students.

This year’s fundraiser will feature fresh-picked, individually wrapped Florida oranges, grapefruit, and mandarin oranges, certificates for Lou Malnati’s frozen pizzas, specialty HealthWise Coffee and Naperville Old-Fashioned English Toffee. All the selections make ideal holiday gifts and are reasonably priced.

The sale begins Monday, September 17 and runs through Sunday, October 7. Orders can be picked up at the BHS Loading Dock on Thursday, December 6 from 3-7 pm, Friday, December 7, from 3-5 pm and Saturday, December 8, from 10 am to 1 pm.

Orders can be placed with any BHS student enrolled in a Fine Arts class or on our easy-to-use online site at www.barrington220.org/citrussale. Customers can also pay by check mailed to: BHS Citrus Sale, 616 W. Main St., Barrington, IL 60010.

The sale is the Fine Arts Boosters’ biggest fundraiser and has supported a wide variety of special programs, equipment and learning experiences for BHS students. These include the annual residency by Giordano Dance Chicago, guest artists and conductors for choir and band, a harpsichord for the orchestra, a portable PA system for the BHS marching band, lighting upgrades for technical theater, equipment for BHS-TV, special equipment for our painters, photographers, ceramicists and jewelry makers and much more.

For more information on ordering and supporting the Arts, please contact Melissa Martin, Administrative Assistant, BHS Fine Arts Department at (847) 842-3214.
