Barrington 220 Releases Stranger Danger Alert for Parents

Barrington 220 News
December 13, 2017

Dear Parents/Guardians:

We want to make you aware of a report that was recently filed with the Barrington Hills Police Department.

The report indicates a suspicious vehicle followed a student home, after that student got off the bus. The incident happened near Algonquin and Bateman Roads. The vehicle was described as an older black car and the driver drove off, after the lights inside the student's home turned on.

We want to take this opportunity to remind you to discuss stranger danger with your children, no matter how old they may be. Children should always be aware of their surroundings and walk in groups as much as possible. If a child is approached by a stranger, he/she should seek help immediately. Remember to report any suspicious activity to your school and police department.

Thank you for your support, as we work to maintain a safe environment for all Barrington 220 students.
