Lines Elementary School 5th Grade Class Shares Memories

Each spring Lines Elementary School honors its outgoing Fifth Graders with a time-honored tradition called Memory Night.

The evening began with the students performing songs with the direction of Music Teacher, Danielle Pavlos. Principal Dr. Hylleberg, a first-timer to the event gave words of wisdom to the soon-to-be Sixth Graders and their parents.

The highlight of the evening is always the amazing video montage that shares all the children's pictures starting in Kindergarten highlighting each year through Fifth Grade. The video also includes their families favorite school moments including school dances, class parties, school field trips, the first day of school, Field Day and of course Timberlee. The video brings laughs and cheers from the kids and tears from the parents but always a unique way to celebrate their time at Lines.

New this year, was having the announcement of each student's name and having them come forward to shake, high five or fist bump Principal Dr. Hylleberg's hand, which appeared to be a hit for the kids and families.

The final event for the Lines Class of 2017 will be the 5th Grade Last Day of School party at Canlan Sportsplex in Lake Barrington next week.
