Students donned corsages, boutonnieres and their dressiest best suits and dresses to celebrate an evening of fun together.
Barrington Roar is a club at Barrington High School open to all students. The club combines the best of BHS school spirit, service to the community, and social opportunities. Completing their second year, they work to create memorable high school experiences for students with disabilities and typical peers.
Barrington Roar stands for:
The Barrington ROAR Spring Formal guests enjoyed a catered meal from Chick-fil-A before hitting the dance floor. Jacey Johnson volunteered her services as a D.J. for the evening playing great dance hits popular with the crowd.
Jacey had help from her mother DeeDee Johnson who owns Bataille Academy of the Danse. Many students at the Spring Formal also participate in dance programs at Bataille.
Barrington Roar participants have been enthusiastic supporters of Barrington High School Athletic Teams, the Performing Arts and have assisted area not-for-profit organizations. The club meets once a month to plan activities and programs.
Barrington Roar is also supported by a parent booster board led by:
