New Board Takes Oath, Begins Term

At its May 9 meeting, the Board of Education seated two re-elected members and two new members, who take their places for the next four-year term. In the April 9 consolidated election, incumbents Penny Kazmier and Sandra Ficke-Bradford were re-elected by voters to continue their service on the Board. Also elected were new members, Wendy Farley and Christopher Geier (pictured above). After their oaths, the new members joined a reorganized Board led by President Brian Battle, Vice President Kazmier and Secretary Ficke-Bradford.
