How to Get Involved

LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Greeting Neighborhood!

Whether you are new to the Barrington area, or are a longtime resident who just wishes to meet new people, you are welcome to join us!  Our motto is:  ‘Make Friends.  Have Fun.’  and that is what we do.  We get together for regular daytime and evening events which are offered every month.  We play Bunco, go bowling, play golf, play cards, do crafts.  We enjoy lunches, and have book clubs.  We go out for dinner, even enjoy a movie, play games, and have coffee – among other events.  Members attend whatever interests them, and no event is required.

When I moved into the Barrington area from out of state two years ago, this became a wonderful way to meet a delightful group of people pretty quickly.  By attending functions, I have also enjoyed trying new restaurant, learned about local resources, and attended activities in the broader NW suburban community.  All of these things have strengthened my connection to the Barrington community.

I encourage anyone who wishes to meet new people to contact us.  We can send you a monthly calendar and you can attend a few events to see if you like it.  Let me know you are coming, and I will keep an eye out for you!  As many of us are new, or once were new to the area, we always enjoy meeting new people.  We would like to meet you too!

Jennifer Christensen
